F1 and F1 Academy Announce All-Female Lineup for 2024 Season

All 10 Formula 1 Teams to Nominate Drivers for F1 Academy

Formula 1 and F1 Academy have announced that as of the 2024 season, all 10 F1 teams will nominate one driver and have their livery on one car competing in the all-female racing series.

This is a significant step forward for F1 Academy, which is entering its second season in 2024. In its inaugural season, the series featured 15 drivers from 11 different countries and supported five Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends.

The addition of all 10 F1 teams to the series will provide a major boost to F1 Academy, and will help to further develop the next generation of female racing drivers.

"We are delighted to be able to announce that all 10 Formula 1 teams will be represented in F1 Academy from the 2024 season," said Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1. "This is a clear demonstration of the commitment of Formula 1 to developing and promoting female talent in motorsport.

"F1 Academy has been a great success in its first season, and we are confident that it will continue to grow and develop in the years to come."

Jamie Chadwick, who won the inaugural F1 Academy championship in 2023, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for female drivers, and I am grateful to Formula 1 and F1 Academy for making this happen.

"I believe that F1 Academy can be a real game-changer for women in motorsport, and I am excited to see what the future holds for the series."
